This group is for care providers who want to interact with others facing the same issues.  we as a group will help through the emotional turmoil of caring for parents who are transistioning.  You can relax, make friends, gain needed information from your peers or just be in a group that knows what you are facing while dealing with aging family members.  We are all about you, everyone here is an added support. 

This group is for anyone who has the responsibility of providing for the care of their parents or other family members. Topics will include: how to avoid elder fraud, how to maximize benefits from Social Security or Medicare, how to choose the correct nursing home, how to work with professional caregivers, how to recognize memory issues with our parents, and other topics you may wish to hear about.

I provided in-home support to my parents, grandparents and friends for over 27 years. Now that they have transitioned, I find myself with a bounty of experience I wish to share with fellow caregivers. Healthcare providers, caregivers and family members would benefit from attending and sharing their experiences in order to address the many issues care givers face today.
